Emily: I’m reviewing them now, love. We’ve all been busy with the holidays. Thank you for your interest in our roleplay!
Kay: Come off anon so we know who this is. Is this the person who put in another app? If so, I’m going to check with the other admins and then get back to you.
Kay: We all will discuss it as admins but we usually give second chances with the promise that they will be active and keep us updated if they need a hiatus or to leave.
Ramona Hale | Taylor Momsen | Eighteen | Greaser | Taken
Ramona Hale was born and raised a Soc. However, it never set well with her. She didn’t like any of the Socs and therefore became a quiet person in school that people just overlooked her. So when she decided to become a greaser, people thought a new person had arrived in Tulsa. She made up a story that her parents put her on a bus to Tulsa and she has no idea where they are any more. She changed her look, started going by Mona, and showed off her inner personality. She was quickly accepted into the Greasers and has lived on the East side for years. Only a few people in town know of Mona’s Soc roots.
Mona is a tough and opinionated. She hates the Socs and their lifestyle. She loves to fight, smoke, and party. With each day,she becomes a stronger person having overcome adversity and tragedy.
After the success of last year’s masquerade ball, the city of Tulsa has decided to bring it back as an annual event. Like last year, guests are allowed to attend in either dresses and suits or Halloween costumes. Masks are mandatory. Nobody will be allowed in with a date, as it would defeat the purpose of the event. Please arrive alone, dressed up, and refrain from speaking about both the rivalry and which side of town you are from. Violations of any of these rules will result in the guilty party being kicked out of the ball.
((The event will last from this Thursday to next Monday. Characters can start prepping for the ball now. Have fun!))
Emily: Sounds great, honey! Thank you!
Tulsa Halloween Carnival
Time to put on those costumes, grab a friend or significant other, and head over to the October Halloween Bash. It is a week long and filled with games, ferris wheel, costume contests, haunted house, and much, much more. Don’t forget the carnival is a great time to secure that date for the Masquerade ball at the end of the week.
Time: Monday 10/28/1968 - Friday 11/1/1968
(As always you can chat, para, etc for the entire week. You may continue any other paras you have or start new ones outside the carnival but do take advantage of all the fun things you can do at carnivals. If you need help coming up with ideas for carnival games, food, or anything else, just ask an admin.)
